General vendor Rules of Conduct

• Vendor must open by 9:00 a.m. and remain open until 3:00 p.m. on normal market days. To hold a reservation from week to week you must commit and pay by 6:00 p.m. each Sunday.

• vendor must have a current sales space receipt on hand and be prepared to present it upon request at all times.

• Vendor must sweep and remove all trash from their space throughout the day and keep trash bags on hand for excess trash. Boxes and large items should be broken down and stacked neatly next to a trash barrel. Your space should be clean before you leave.

• Vendor must not place electrical cords across walkways, either above or on the ground.

• Vendor must not conduct games of chance, skill, raffles, lotteries or auctions without written approval.

• Do not store flammable or hazardous materials inside sales space or inside buildings.

• Do not occupy the same or additional space for additional without a paid receipt in advance.

Vendor Rules for Product Sales

• The following is a partial list of Items that may not be sold at Renue Artique: (List may change at any time without notice.)

  • Any Food Product without a permission permit from Renue Artique and the local health department

  • Firearms and Ammunition

  • Pornography

  • Tobacco Products

  • Drugs

  • Contact Lenses

  • Fireworks

  • Paint in One Gallon or Larger Container

  • Counterfeit Merchandise

  • Baby Food or Formula

  • Animals

  • Any and all political and religious materials without the consent of management

• All items sold at the market must comply with The Barn’s strict standards to maintain a wholesome family environment.

• Contact the State Comptroller’s office for information related to State Sales Tax information.

• Vendors must comply with all Federal, State, and Local sales laws while on Renue Artique grounds.

• Vendors selling used bedding must comply with all elements of the Texas Bedding Law, Health and Safety Code, Chapter 345.

• Renue Artique prohibits the sale, display or distribution of merchandise bearing counterfeit trademarks or that infringes on copyrighted designs.

**Any violation of these rules may result in the confiscation of the prohibited items and will subject the dealer to loss of sales space and forfeiture of rental fee.

Please Remember …

• Renue Artique reserves the right to prohibit the sale of any item or service we believe to be detrimental to the operation of Renue Artique.

• Renue Artique reserves the right to evict any vendor or patron.

• Renue Artique does not provide rain checks or refunds.

• Sales spaces may not be sublet, assigned, transferred, or used for parking or storage.

• Merchandise and that are unattended, unauthorized, and/or abandoned on the property will be removed without liability to Renue Artique.

• Renue Artique is not responsible for theft or damage to anything brought onto the premises. Anything left on the property is done so entirely at the individual’s own risk.

• Vendors must sell only within their designated sales space.

• We reserve the right to establish acceptable sound levels.

• We do not accept used tires, produce, produce containers or motorized very large boxes or containers for disposal.

• Signs, racks, walls, or other construction may not be constructed without written consent of management.

• Rental receipt is vendor’s admittance only. Any other use is prohibited. Occupation of a daily space occurs when a vendor occupies the sales space.
